HOW IT WORKS

1 ULTRASOUND ON DAY 8–10 OF THE CYCLE

Purpose: Assessment of endometrial and ovarian status.
Location: At an IVF HELP partner clinic.
What is examined: Uterus and endometrium.

  • Endometrial thickness (normal range: 8–12 mm).
  • Absence of pathologies (cysts, fibroids).
    2 LABORATORY TESTS

    Mandatory tests for the surrogate (according to IVF HELP requirements):

    • Blood: Complete blood count, biochemistry, hormones (FSH, LH, prolactin), coagulogram.
    • Infections: HIV, Hepatitis B/C, syphilis, TORCH complex.
    • Urine: General analysis.
    • Genetics: Karyotyping (if indicated).
      3 DOCUMENT COLLECTION

      List of required documents:

      • Physician's report (general health).
      • Psychiatrist's report (absence of mental disorders).
      • Narcologist's report (absence of addictions).
      • Fluorography (valid for 1 year).
      • Notarized spousal consent (if the surrogate is married).
        4 START OF PREPARATION

        Stages:

        • Synchronization of the surrogate's cycle with the biological material/donor (hormonal therapy).
        • Endometrial preparation (progesterone, estrogens).
        • Ultrasound monitoring every 3-5 days.
          5 EMBRYO TRANSFER

          Procedure:

          • Painless transfer of 1-2 embryos (via catheter).
          • Bed rest for 1-2 days after the procedure.

          Important:

          • Avoid stress and physical exertion.
          • Progesterone support (as prescribed by the doctor).
              6 AWAITING THE HEARTBEAT (WEEK 6)

              Ultrasound monitoring:

              • Confirmation of pregnancy (gestational sac in the uterus).
              • Check of embryonic cardiac activity (heart rate: 110-160 bpm).
                7 REGISTRATION & PREGNANCY MANAGEMENT

                Location:

                • At a women's consultation clinic or at IVF HELP.

                Tests and procedures:

                • Screenings (1st, 2nd, 3rd trimesters).
                • Ultrasounds (12, 20, 32 weeks).
                • CTG (from 30 weeks).
                • Regular gynecological check-ups.
                  8 DELIVERY

                  Organization:

                  • Planned cesarean section (if indicated) or natural birth.
                  • Presence of biological parents (by agreement).
                    8 DOCUMENTATION PROCESSING
                    • Collection of necessary documents.
                    • Legal registration of parental rights.
                    • Handover of the child.
