Selection of surrogates
Childbirth and family planning is an actively developing area of medical tourism in Cyprus. The surrogacy program in this country is offered to both spouses and unmarried women, if they have medical indications for this.

OBSERVATIONS
Before a candidate for surrogacy is entered into the appropriate database, she undergoes a medical examination. Any deviations in health that are an obstacle to carrying and giving birth to a healthy baby will be excluded.

- systemic diseases in which pregnancy poses a danger to the expectant mother (decompensated diabetes, serious cardiovascular, renal, and hepatic pathologies).
